3 days Kidepo flying safari

Overview

Enjoy this 3-day Flying Safari to Kidepo which begins and ends in Entebbe. It includes two major activities and these are game drives and the Karamojong cultural experience. During the game drives, expect to meet different animals like lions, elephants, buffalos, zebras, warthogs, jackals, leopards, cheetahs, duikers, bushbucks and many more.

As you encounter the culture of the Karamajongs, enjoy the music and dance, traditional meals and more. This tour includes enjoying the endless untouched beautiful scenery in Uganda’s Northeastern region.

Detailed Itinerary

Day1. Fly from Kajjansi to Kidepo Valley National Park, drive to the lodge

Fly to Kidepo airstrip where you meet the driver ready to take you to the lodge. Kidepo National Park is located in the most remote areas in the far northeast of Uganda at the border of South Sudan and Kenya. Arrive and take part in the optional game drive adventure.

Day2. Full-day game drive

Take a full-day game drive where you expect to meet different animals such as cheetahs, aardwolf, caracal, mountain reedbuck, Guenther’s dik-dik, elephants, buffalos, and lions among others. This day will include great moments like the sunrise and sunset, picnic lunch, animals mating, hunting and more.

Day3. Cultural experience and fly back to Kajjansi airstrip, Drop-off at Entebbe International Airport

Take part in the morning cultural tour where you encounter great memories of the Karamajongs as they take you through cultural music and dance, a community tour, tasting their traditional dishes and many more others. Afterwards, fly back to Kajjansi followed by a drop-off at Entebbe International Airport.
