Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Kibale National Park

After you arrive at the Entebbe International Airport, you will meet our company tour guide. He or she will brief you about your 3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Safari. You will then drive through rolling hills, lush green vegetation, and plantations to Kibale National Park. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your booked lodge for dinner and a night stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi wetland walk

This is a special day on your 3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Safari! Start with breakfast and go to the park headquarters for briefing and chimp tracking. You will be led by an expert guide through the forests of Kibale in search of the chimps. Upon meeting them, you will be allowed to spend one precious hour in their presence.  Return to your lodge for lunch and relaxation.

In the afternoon, you will go for a guided community tour or walk in the Bigodi wetland area. The area is a perfect place for birding and it is home to local communities that will bless your 3 Days Uganda Chimpanzee Safari. You will taste local beer and banana juice before returning to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala – Departure
