Day 1: Kigali city tour and transfer to Volcanoes National Park

After arriving at the Kigali International Airport, you will meet our professional company representative. He or she will brief you about your 3 days Rwanda Gorilla Tour. You will take on an amazing Kigali city tour and visit the local markets. A visit to the Kigali Genocide Museum and the Nyamatta Church is emotional. You will witness the remains of over 1000 people who lost their lives during the 1994 Rwanda Genocide.

Later, you will drive to Volcanoes National Park. Lunch will be along the way. Upon arrival, check in to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Mountain Gorilla Trekking and Dian Fossey Grave

After breakfast, go to the park headquarters for a briefing. You will then embark on a guided mountain gorilla trekking adventure in the Volcanoes National Park. The park is home to almost half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Upon meeting the gorilla family, you will spend one hour in its presence. Visit the Karisoke Conservation Center and tour the Dian Fossey grave. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
